Aomori Sea Station

From spring through fall, fish species such as red sea bream (snapper) and flounder can be caught in the bay. In the fall as the leaves change color, visitors can enjoy sightseeing tours of the beautiful Lake Towada.

Ofunato Sea Station

Ofunato offers a beautiful coastline blessed with great variety along its length. The section known as “Goishikaigan” is designated as a “Special Place of Scenic Beauty and Natural Monuments” by the national government.

Oga Sea Station

In that the Oga Sea Station is located within the southern part of the Oga Peninsular, it is not impacted by the Sea of Japan’s unique winter squalls. Thus, the station can be used throughout the year. Furthermore, the marina makes a very attractive proposition with nearby fishing grounds and a wide variety of fish species.

Akita Sea Station

We would recommend to visitors that they witness the grandeur of sunsets across the Sea of Japan on at least one occasion. Furthermore, many boating and yachting people gather together for the Kanto Festival, a celebration that has been designated nationally as an intangible folklore cultural asset.

Yurihonjo Sea Station

Located such that it allows for views of Mount Chokaizan to the south and the Oga Peninsular to the north, the Honjo Marina is a marine recreation area that is situated next to a swimming beach, an auto-camping ground, and a combined hot-spring/health facility. It is also the closest marina to Tobishima Island, a well-known destination for boat cruising.

Iwaki Sea Station

At the neighboring Onahama Port, in addition to Misaki Park, visitors can also enjoy both the Aquamarine Fukushima Aquarium as well as meals at the Iwaki Sightseeing & Produce Center (“Iwaki Lalamew”). If a short trip is taken from the Sea Station, visitors can also view the beautiful Pacific Ocean from the chalkstone lighthouse at Shioya Misaki.
